The company you would be joining.

More than forty five people work in operations. About two hundred captains and crew work the boats behind them. Between them they look after about a hundred vessels. The company has been doing it for about ten years.

The office is in Fort Lauderdale. The boats are in Fort Lauderdale and Miami, and the program runs in three regions.

  • South Florida Fort Lauderdale and Miami, and the docks between them. The home water and the largest share of the fleet.
  • The tri-state area The summer season, and the boats that run north and back.
  • The Great Lakes Fresh water, a short season, and the same standard of care.

Some of these jobs are an engine room in August.

Field work happens outdoors and inside machinery spaces, on other people's boats, in Florida. Engine rooms are hot and tight. The wash detail is in the sun. The standard does not drop because nobody is watching, and the photograph goes into the owner's app either way. The other half of the company works from a desk in Fort Lauderdale, and one department is fully remote.

What an ordinary week looks like.

Every photograph on this site is our own crews, on boats we look after, taken on working days. None of it is stock and nobody in it is a model. The two below are the field side of the job.
